  Sinopec Yangtze Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yangtze Petrochemical Co., Ltd.) and Sinopec Asset Management Co., Ltd. Yangtze Petrochemical Branch (hereinafter referred to as Yangtze Petrochemical Branch), formerly known as Yangtze Petrochemical Company, were established in September 1983. They are located in the economically developed northern part of Nanjing City in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, mainly engaged in petroleum refining and the production, processing, and sales of hydrocarbon derivatives. In 1998, asset restructuring was implemented, and Sinopec Yangtze Petrochemical Co., Ltd. with petrochemical industry as its main business and Sinopec Group Yangtze Petrochemical Co., Ltd. with public engineering as its main business were established. In 2006, Sinopec Yangtze Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was delisted and merged with Sinopec Yangtze Petrochemical Co., Ltd. in October 2007. Sinopec Yangtze Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was transformed into Sinopec Asset Management Co., Ltd. Yangtze Petrochemical Branch; At the end of 2007, Yangtze Petrochemical Co., Ltd. successfully acquired Taizhou Petrochemical and Qingjiang Petrochemical, further extending the industrial chain.
