1、 Customer Profile


The Bureau of Education of Linzhi City, Xizang, is responsible for the city's basic education planning and construction, campus informatization upgrading, balanced allocation of educational resources, and daily supervision and management of schools. Many middle schools in the jurisdiction are scattered, geographically wide, and have weak educational informatization foundation. In order to comprehensively promote the digital reform of regional education, narrow the gap between urban and rural education informatization, and achieve standardized, intelligent, and unified development of primary and secondary school management in the city, the Education Bureau of Linzhi City has publicly launched the city level digital campus one card coordinated construction project. Through the construction of a comprehensive smart campus system, it empowers the high-quality and balanced development of regional education.




2、 Pain points in project construction


Before the project construction, there were many problems in the informationization construction of secondary schools in Linzhi City, such as lagging behind, scattered systems, and inconsistent management, which seriously hindered the implementation and promotion of regional smart education


-The level of informatization varies greatly among schools: 12 middle schools in the city are scattered, with outdated and single function campus equipment, no unified construction standards, and significant differences in security, academic, and logistics management modes among schools. The difficulty of unified control at the municipal level is extremely high.


-Lack of campus security control system: Most schools lack intelligent access control equipment, and rely on manual monitoring for teacher and student access and campus safety. There is a lack of digital verification, record tracing capabilities, and an incomplete system for building a safe campus.


-The traditional and outdated mode of academic management: academic statistics, teaching management, and student status management in various schools rely heavily on manual offline operations, with cumbersome processes and lagging data statistics, which cannot meet the needs of modern intelligent teaching management.


-Insufficient supporting capacity for smart teaching: Lack of standardized smart classrooms, smart libraries, and other digital teaching scenarios, inability to share teaching resources, weak learning experience for teachers and students, and weak digital empowerment of teaching.


-Without a city level integrated data platform: each school operates independently, data is isolated, and there is no unified information base for consolidation and supervision. The Education Bureau is unable to achieve comprehensive campus data analysis and scientific supervision and decision-making.




3、 Project construction plan and implementation content


In July 2019, Haiweida Technology successfully won the bid for the digital campus one card project of the Education Bureau of Nyingchi City, with a total contract amount of 12.15 million yuan. It is a regional scale model and benchmark city level smart campus overall construction project in Nyingchi City. The project covers all 12 middle schools in Linzhi City, relying on the self-developed IoT smart campus platform of Haiweida to create an integrated smart campus solution that is unified at the city level, linked by multiple schools, and covers all scenarios. It aims to achieve standardization, normalization, and intelligent upgrading of information construction in middle schools throughout the city.


The core construction content is as follows:


-Construction of Smart Campus Access System in the City: Deploy intelligent channel gates and facial recognition access terminals in batches for 12 middle schools, build a standardized campus smart access system, achieve seamless access for teachers and students, accurate identity verification, full retention of entry and exit records, and hierarchical control of permissions. Unify the city's campus security access standards, strengthen the security defense line of each school campus, and achieve digital control of a safe campus.


-Construction of a standardized educational management system: Establish a city level unified educational management platform, covering the full process functions of student enrollment management, course scheduling, teaching statistics, educational approval, attendance summary, etc., to achieve online, standardized, and process oriented operation of educational work in each school, replacing traditional manual statistical mode, and greatly improving the efficiency and standardization level of campus educational management in the city.


-Implementation of intelligent smart classroom scenarios: Building standardized smart classroom systems for multiple middle schools, relying on digital teaching equipment and intelligent management systems, empowering classroom teaching interaction, teaching data retention, teaching quality analysis, breaking the limitations of traditional teaching models, enriching regional teaching forms, and helping high-quality educational resources land on grassroots campuses.


-Construction of Smart Library System: Build an integrated smart library system that includes intelligent borrowing, book inventory, collection management, and reading data statistics, enabling self-service book borrowing, intelligent archiving, and data visualization management. Simplify the campus library management process, create a digital and intelligent reading and learning environment, and enrich the cultural life of teachers and students on campus.




4、 Project implementation effectiveness


-Realize standardized construction of campuses throughout the city: Complete the unified upgrade of smart campuses in 12 middle schools in Linzhi City at once, unify equipment standards, system platforms, and management norms, thoroughly solve the problem of uneven information construction and scattered management in each school, and achieve city level education overall management and control.


-Comprehensive upgrade of campus security prevention and control: Each school has achieved intelligent traffic control, with personnel entry and exit traceable and manageable, building a unified campus security protection system throughout the city, effectively improving the level of regional campus security governance, and laying a solid foundation for a safe campus.


-Improving the quality and efficiency of educational management: The digital educational management system covers the entire school's teaching management scenarios, significantly reducing the workload of manual educational management, standardizing the teaching management process, and assisting in the refinement and scientific upgrading of regional teaching management.


-Empowering the balanced development of regional education: By implementing digital teaching scenarios such as smart classrooms and smart libraries, filling the gaps in information technology in grassroots middle schools, optimizing the allocation of teaching resources, effectively narrowing the digital gap in regional education, and supporting the high-quality and balanced development of basic education in Linzhi City.




5、 Summary of Project Value


This project is a key municipal level smart campus coordinated construction project of the Education Bureau of Linzhi City. Haiweida Technology has completed the intelligent upgrade of 12 middle schools in the city with a multi million level digital solution, and built a comprehensive smart campus ecosystem that integrates safe passage, academic management, smart teaching, and smart library. The project has successfully filled in the gap of local multi school informatization construction, and achieved the leap forward upgrade of regional campus management standardization, digital teaching, and intelligent security. It has become a benchmark smart campus demonstration project in Xizang that is coordinated at the municipal level and linked by multiple schools, providing solid support for the digital transformation of regional education.
